Upular
Video for Pogo’s track ‘Upular’, composed using chords, bass notes and vocal samples from the Disney Pixar film ‘Up’. The track also features a small number of percussion samples, including an obvious kick drum, crash cymbals and hi-hats.
‘Upular’ marks the first ever Pogo mix of a Pixar film. The closing advertisements have created much debate of whether or not Pogo has been endorsed for his work. The release of ‘Upular’ also marked the unsettling deactivation of ‘Alice’, ‘Expialdicious’ and ‘White Magic’. We expect an official statement from Pogo explaining these events in the near future.

This should definitely be made available for purchase. Whatever Pogo and Disney / Pixar need to do to make a deal on who gets what split, I’d like to contribute some money to own this track without having to rip it.

Obviously Pogo (whom I love) did get comissioned for this work. Had he not, a giant foot would have appeard from the sky and squashed this project like a bug. The media industry is good for killing anything it does not hold the control over, whether its positive or negative.
In short though….there no reason avoid mentioning whether Pogo got paid. If he did, great he’s being noticed if not, enjoy it while you can.

Hello from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have just recently started listening to your music and I LOVE IT! I just have a question about purchasing your music on itunes. Do you have any albums on there? Also I wanted to download the upular track and I cant find it anywhere :(
When I first heard this, I was, in a positive way, taken aback — not by the content, but by the style. This has to be the most unique, opulent, and expressive opus I’ve ever seen on YouTube or on the web in general, regarding remixes and music videos. It’s clever; it’s creative; it’s catchy; and I love it. To date, I’ve listened to it over eighty times and continue to listen to it on a daily basis. Call me crazy, but I really do enjoy it that much.
