Gardyn at the Guggenheim

In 2010, I was most honoured to have my video ‘Gardyn’ featured in the YouTube Play exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Out of approximately 23000 videos, ‘Gardyn’ made the top 25, and was one of the few videos to be projected at the Guggenheim in its entirety. The screening was accompanied by a 360 degree projection of dancing reeds that encompassed the entire rotunda of the Guggenheim. It was deeply moving to watch my video play at such a prestigious event before so many people, and my heart goes out to everybody who worked so hard to pull it all together!
To celebrate, I’m releasing Gardyn in a variety of new, high quality formats. Available is a new, super high quality MP3 encoded using the latest LAME technology, and an uncompressed WAV for the audiophiles out there. Purchasing the track will provide you with both WAV and MP3 formats, and purchasing the video will provide you with both iPod and iPad video formats. Enjoy, and my sincerest gratitude to everybody for their amazing support!

(it is very beautiful!)
What equipment did you use to record this?

Gardyn is my favorite of your productions. It’s so beautiful, but more over it’s very personal and that’s what makes it so special. Thank you fro making Gardyn. It’s is a joy to listen to.
[...] Pogo, aka Nick Bertke, is an amazing music/video artist. This song/video is comprised entirely of clips of his mother in her garden (in what I think is New Zealand). It’s absolutely breathtaking and a great encapsulation of the love of gardening. Plus pretty plant pictures! You can also buy the track here. [...]

Hi Pogo
We absolutely loved your clip!! It’s fantastic. We are always looking for new ways to brand our business. Do you think you could compile something for us to be used as part of our branding? We’d only need a five minute clip.
Send through some details of costings etc if you could.
Warm Regards
