  4. Oly Mkan says:

first i want to say how inspiring and significant your music has been to me since I discovered you on Saturday.

this week has been a traumatic time for me to say the least. And your music is helping me through it. all those familiar sounds from my childhood are bringing back memories from happier times.
I’m an animator from the and UK.
There is nothing I enjoy as much as drawing and making my drawings come to life. well nothing, except music. I listen to it all day and night I’m inspired by it and I couldn’t draw without it.
I want to create something for you. not for money or for fame, but to show my gratitude because your music has brought me so much joy and I want to return the favour. If there is anything I can make for you don’t hesitate to ask.

  5. Robbb says:

Your beautiful mixes make the world a much better place. The other day on tv the classic movie “Newsies” was on tv. Most people know of this movie. I’m totally thinking Mix this movie up and it would the most beautiful song ever. Haha anyways. Keep up the amazing work that gives me hope for the future of music.

  6. Vanessa says:

I second Daylena! The fates probably cancelled your trip to Tallahassee because your meant to come to Miami! You have fans here! Tallahasee is dull. Miami’s the scene, you know how much recognition you’d get here? PLEASE POGO! *crossing fingers*

  7. Daylena says:

Tallahassee is too far…..you should have a concert here at miami, everyone here digs your music, including me. me and my friends would love to go to your concert, we have been dreaming about seeing you for years.. but is just too far and we have no way of getting there!!! your next concert should be at miami. =) hope you come.

  8. David Nguyen says:

Your videos are awesome. I was wondering the Upular music… I know you said you can’t provide a free download, but is there a way to purchase the a CD containing the music? I am very interested in purchasing them (if they are available). Thanks for the awesome music!

  9. Ao says:

You do such amazing work; live long and prosper, sir Pogo.

  10. Serena says:

Oh wait, I just read on twitter the show has been postponed. :( Man, I was really looking forward to it! But please PLEASE do come to Florida! I will gladly wait as long as you do come eventually!

  11. James says:

Not gonna lie – a Coraline remix would be awesome.

  12. Radicaledward_26 says:

I have loved your music for quite some time. Keep up the good work! Quite a while ago I heard your song Alice used in a mix by Daedelus for Mary Anne Hobbs (a radio DJ in England). It was slowed down and mashed up with another song. Unfortunately I only heard it once and haven’t been able to find it again. I was quite suprised when I heard it!

  13. Serena says:

I am trying to buy tickets online for your show in Tallahassee, but it says tickets are unavailable. I am a little afraid to have my mom drive me 2 hours to get there and then not be able to get in. Where can I find tickets please?

    • Sub_Nuke says:

If you look at the schedule on the engine room website, Pogo is no longer listed on Fri. the 3rd. I pre-ordered tickets, and my order was refunded saying the event was canceled. Not sure what happened, but I’m hoping for a re-schedule. I’m glad I pre-ordered though, I live 3 hours away and would have had no idea that it was canceled otherwise…

  14. Sub_Nuke says:

Just got my refund from ticketweb for Friday’s show… *Sad panda face* Please tell me you are just rescheduling…

  15. Nearshot says:

Wow, just wow. Pogo, you’re music has inspired me in ways that I honesly would never have believed to exist. I agree with you on the fact that creative music (or creative anything ) is hard to come by. And I honestly just could not find any music that gave me this lung filling, brain bursting feeling of joy that I missed back in the day. Then, I stumbled upon one of your songs. I hadn’t felt so up beat in such a long while. Your beautiful ear-candy inspired me to make soooooo much art! As of late, I’ve been using some of your songs in my animations and I felt so happy when people said, “Cool, where’d you get dat song from?!” I really wanted to spead the epic that is your work! So just don’t change what your doing because it is a m a z i n g ! Have a zippity doo dah day!-

  18. mrJames says:

I can’t wait for “Hundred Acre Flurry” to be finished..though I know due to some issues..it sounds like it will be a very wonderful track! I would’ve tried my best to come see you in FL but I’m not able to..:’( Come to Charlotte, NC it’s only 7-8 hrs away lol..Perform at Amelie’s Bakery in NoDa..I think you would LOVE it there!!

  19. OJ says:

Wow! That’s all I can say! I only just discovered your work and I am nearly breathless!
Your work is so amazing! I was watching your garden video and I thought it looked alot like Australia (I am from Australia) but your work is amazing I listen to it all the time! Even on the bus! Please don’t stop your work! It is well and truly amazing!!!

    Keep mixing!

  20. MJ says:

This is incredible. Absolutely incredible. The only thing I don’t like about this website is that Upular doesn’t have an MP3. I’m sure every single person who has listened to the song agrees with me. So…

    PLEEEEEAAAAAAASSSEEE???

  21. Dane Romley says:

Hey Pogo, i’m an animator on The Simpsons and I’m also a HUGE fan of your work. I stumbled upon your youtube page about a year or so ago and I’ve been listening ever since. Both my fiance’ and I check every week to see if there’s anything new. Anyway I just wanted to let you know that your music keeps me going everyday, a lot of the episodes I’ve worked on were while I was listening to your amazing tracks. In fact the recently released season 13 dvd menus I worked on were done completely while listening to your stuff. Keep it up and I look forward to future masterpieces.

    • Pogo says:

That’s great. Thanks very much, Dane. What a coincidence – I’ve recently picked up seasons 2, 3 and 4 of The Simpsons to watch in between work loads. The old ones are my favourites. Thanks again.

  22. mike says:

p.p.p.s. you travelling around the world making music from the places and people you meet sounds like the most amazing idea for a documentary. if i ever make any impact in the film industry, i will definitely seek you out for this.

  23. beau says:

you said this “I cringe at the beats on the radio today” – personally, I don’t listen to the radio much as I hate commercialized artists. However I do search out the unknowns, and have found one, with beats that are so new and beautiful, I think you will like… she’s from Germany: Ellen Allien – please check her out

  24. Izzy says:

    AH. O_O
Your music… I love it better than The Beatles.
It has inspired me GREATLY. The beautiful masterpieces you put together bewilder me. They make me shiver and I get bursts of nostalgia when I listen to them. It has uplifted me so much. It’s so hard to put this into words. You have inspired my talents. I want to express my feelings through art more. And you helped me. I have the energy to do it. This music fuels my imagination. My mind has grown. It “feeds my imagination” like Willy Wonka candies.
    In a nutshell, your music is magic. Thank you so much. ;^;

It reminds me of a movie I used to watch all the time called “The Rescuers”. It’s a very underrated Disney film, but one of the best. It bewildered me as a young child, and it still does. It also makes me feel so nostalgic I cry. It inspires me. I want to make a song out as a tribute. It won’t be for awhile, but I will sometime in my life. I must.

Oh, and I love the new logo. It is VERY clever. It’s GENIUS! I love it! :D
Also, I am very excited for the Living Island (HR Pufnstuf) mix. It’s amazing. I wanna dance to it. (And I love how you put Where the Wild Things Are to it. x3)

Again, THANK YOU POGO!!! I’m spreading your magic to EVERYONE!
    -Izzy

  25. Jamie says:

you are amazing pogo. Your viedos make me giddy. thank you .

  26. Michelle says:

Hey Pogo, I freakin LOVE your work!!! Especially “Bangarang” and “Gardyn”. I listen to at least one of them everyday! You are rediculously talented. I have no clue how you do it.

Can I request a movie to mix? Could you do one for the movie “Avatar”? That would be EPIC!

    Thanks! Keep it coming!
    Michelle

  27. Ricky Mendoza says:

  29. Eric Brotman says:

My local NPR station (KUOW – Seattle) recently broadcast a reviewer’s picks of YouTube videos, and your Gardyn piece was among them. I went to You Tube and watched Gardyn several times. Beautiful work. Joyful and peaceful and energetic all at the same time. Wonderful how you built it around your mother in her garden. Real magic. Thank you.

  30. Andrew says:

Hey man, your music is amazing. Upular in particular is simply fantastic. Where is your CD so I can buy it and tell all my friends (as well as more than a few strangers on the street) to buy it?

    • jake says:

he doesnt have a cd. why would you buy one when you can get his music for free??

      • Andrew says:

Oh I don’t know, to support the artist? And some of the best tracks aren’t available for download. I want to be able to put Upular on my iPod!

        • J says:

To put Upular on your iPod: download the YouTube video using RealPlayer, and extract the audio from the video using DVD Audio Extractor. Both softwares are free downloads.

There you go, i just potentially saved you some money and also taught you a useful procedure for any similar case in the future.

  31. Matty B says:

I was surfing Digg one day and found your video of Alice on YouTube. I shortly subscribed to your videos. You truly have a gift for this. Whether its for money or pleasure please don’t stop. I’d gladly put some money down for a CD.

  32. Abe Behr says:

What up! What program do you use to remix? and you should mix the secret of nimh, it has the same vibe as a lot of the movies you use

  33. Dave says:

I’ve thrown together a CD of 13 of your songs which I play on my way to and from work :P I’m really looking forward to hearing more! I bet swashbuckle will be great

  34. Erica says:

I think your songs are awesome! Your best one is the Up one. How about attempting one for Boxxy?

  35. Jacob says:

I’ve been trying to figure out how I could download your tracks, with no prevail. My computer says mp3, but it still won’t go into my iTunes or iPod. It just won’t show up. Any help please?

Love all of your tracks, Pogo. Keep up the great work!

    • Izzy says:

That happens to me too! I tried to download the tracks but iTunes doesn’t like it! Help!

    • theHarrow says:

That is an easy fix. Find the downloaded files and right click on whichever you wish, i use a mac so i would click ‘get info’, but for a PC, i think it might be properties. The file names have been named: “songname”.m4a.mp3 for some reason. Simply delete the .mp3 section of the file name so that you are left with “songname”.m4a, press enter, and if a popup appears, press change to m4a. Voila. Can import to itunes.

  36. Taeo says:

    Greetings from southern California! :D

Pogo, I absolutely love the beautiful music you’ve created. I can still remember how stoked I was the first time I watched Alice. You blew me away! And from there it’s been one hit after the next. Thank you for diminishing the mundane and bringing out the superb. I dream of seeing you spin live one day! If you have a chance to come to SoCal, let me know please! I could probably get you a couple gigs even! Hey hey! ;D

Srsly man, you are an inspiration to all your fans. Good show!

  37. Jay says:

I am a fire performer and I just heard the Bangarang song you did. I tried to download it but no luck. How would I go about doing this? Thank you

  38. Bryan says:

Please come to New York someday! Also i really hope you release ‘Hundred Acre Flurry’ its so beautiful.

All the way in Westbury, NY.

  39. Nic says:

whoops I misspelled my email, there now its fixed.

  40. Tina says:

Love your music, but where is Go Out and Love Someone available for download? That is my favorite of your pieces, aside from Upular which is not available for download.

  41. SteveCorning says:

    Greetings,
Just wanted to let you know how much your music has had a significant impact on my life. In fact, it’s a little outrageous. I have listened to virtually every song you have ever put onto the internet, and even that has never been enough to hold me over. When I first discovered Upular I must have watched it 10 times in a single evening, same with Alahomora, Expialidocious and especially Bangarang. your music has become the soundtrack of my life. I can no longer listen to Go Out and Love Someone because the song delivers such realistic memories of a girl I once loved. Lost has forever been my song to juggle to, and “Mending” is the song I find myself playing when life refuses to go well. I blast “Kiss of Cure” at my house parties and find myself watching “Toyz Noize” and “Buzzwing” during late night essay writing sessions. I feel as if I owe you something, I feel almost like I’m failing you when I don’t create something to give to you in return for the incredible amounts you’ve given to me.
God bless and keep on creating beauty.
    -Steve

  42. Collin says:

We can all see you’re making your way to North America to start playing, so don’t waste the trip by playing in one city! Atlanta, NYC, and whatever smaller cities you’d fancy to hit on the way through, considering you’ll be on the east coast. Nashville, Charlotte, Boston…I could go on for days man

  43. robbie says:

    white dresses song doesn’t work

  44. Fat Chan 101 says:

Just wanted to say well done on the new logo, I think it looks ace… though you saying it can also look like the eyes and nose of Mr Mouse occasionally gets my vision trapped in the in-between of an optical illusion… which I kinda like… in a weird psychotropic kinda way. Also, huge thanks to having the downloads section fully populated, there’s a bunch on there of your stuff I’m yet to listen to and I’m hugely excited to do so, similarly, thanks for the website updates… always a huge highlight to my day if I see you’ve updated, whatever the post.

Really good luck on your North American tour sir, I love how in the Tiger Tiger Bar video, you are singing along to Alohamora :D I look very much forward to the time you are able to tour the UK.

As always, keep up the exceptionally good work Mr Pogo, your music continues to inspire
