Hey, I came across your music just a couple days ago. I was watching a video of this guy that remixed Gingers Have No Souls. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JMXRt0iVGc He said he was inspired by POGO so I clicked the link and clicked Bangarang and I must say I was extremely impressed with the exquisite and intricate slicing you did with every film’s audio. The thought that there is only a sine wave for the bass and no hand made chords to fit the song is just mind blowing. You have quite the ear for musical inspiration. I listened to Toyz Noize and I must say that is my favorite right now. Then I listened Upular and I just now got the rest of your songs and I love the sounds used for Puff Noise and Alohamora sounds amazing with the breakbeat type drums. You made Dumbledorf sound like he was singing. I am a new huge fan and I must say, I will be blaring this in my car and showing my friends and you have definitely inspired my musical inspiration.

You don’t need another fan boy going on about how fantastic your music is, so instead I’d like to formally request some official artwork for ‘Oldies’, ‘Others’ (Expialidocious, Mary’s Magic, Scrumdiddlyumptious, Bangarang, Upular, Skynet Symphonic, Gardyn, Toyz Noize & Buzzwing) & ‘Remixes’ (that Empire of The Sun one you did). If you have a more Pogo-esque name for these collections (‘Others’ was just the folder name I found online) that would also be great. I know it’s incredibly pathetic and anorak-y but it really does add to the whole package to have the music in a nice little collection with proper artwork and everything.
Thanks again for all the music. Like everyone else here, it really has had a huge impact on me and I look forward to everything the future brings.

I made a cover of Toyz Noize! Each character/vocal section has been recreated on electric guitar, and the chords done on piano and acoustic guitar. I tried to reproduce your bassline as close as possible, because it’s pretty much perfect as is ;-). I must confess I only discovered you in the last month, well I’d heard Alice but I didn’t know Pogo/Faggatron as the artist. But since then, ive become completely obsessed with your music, it blows my mind. Not just Alice which is obviously brilliant. But I love White Magic, Escpialadocious, Scrumdiddlyumptions, Anna, Gardyn etc. I could go on, for the last month I’ve been non stop at my friends telling them how crazy and new and innovative your music is. As an artist myself, although a very different kind, I can appreciate the skill and hard work that must be involved with making one of these tracks, but its well worth it, I think you’re brilliant, and I hope you become really successful. I was also very shocked to see Escpialadocious (sorry if the spelling is wrong) hasn’t been released on an record, it’s one of mine and my friends favourites so we found this puzzling.

If you could have that panda, but add a little more stuff like something around the head, quite possibly coming out of it (in a nice way) to portray your music in a better way?

As far as the logo ideas go, I’m only a large fan of the white bear face or bunny face. I think the White Rabbit suits your music more though as wasn’t Alice the song that skyrocketted you on Youtube? And the idea behind the White Rabbit is pretty epic as well. Into the rabbit hole!
But if you aren’t satisfied with these i have another idea for you.
For a long time I’ve always wanted in someway to design the head/face of a DJ/Music Artist- So in and out i have been designing masks just for fun and thought it’d actually be kind of cool if anybody wanted my designs.

When I heard “White Magic”, I was instantly put into a trance. It’s something about your music, synthesizing music, well-known films, and quotes is simply amazing to my ears! After reading some stuff on your site, and how hard you work on your masterpiece’s, it makes me admire you much much more as an artist. I love how you can express yourself. I wish I could, though I’m on my way.
I’ll try one last time to explain how your music influences me. The fact you are mixing something so beautiful (music), with former ‘memories’ of dear movies, and sequencing quotes just at the right tone to form and flow with the beat. It’s ear candy to my ears, it’s so original and authentic, and genuine. I understand your dilemma of your work being seen as a chore with a deadline. Nonetheless, whichever decision you make, I’m sure it’s for the better. I just thank you for making this wonderful music! And I want to thank your mother for giving birth to a musical genius. First of all, thank you for your awe inspiring music, listening to your music (so beautiful its art) puts me into an amazing trance of sounds and memories that is completely unforgettable. But just like TeddySurgery said down there, I could praise your work for quite awhile but we gotta get to figuring out that logo. I like that white bear with the colored ears (eyes shut with the pink nose), its simple yet shows that your creative and very very chill (laid back, etc) I also agree with elizabeth about the aliens and TeddySurgery about keeping it simple and getting a wide selection to choose from but in the end it ‘s YOUR logo. Damn looks like I was beaten to punch on ideas. Eyeball (don’t forget eyelids if you try it, I’ve drawn it a million times and it works better with eyelids) with angel wings? Just an idea.

First off, i would like to thank you for all your work , I enjoy every one of your ventures, and continually try to spread your talent through my friends! In fact, I managed to get one of your songs, Alohamora, to be played on my friend’s university radio show, I hope you don’t mind! They were all very impressed!
I could spend quite a lot of this feedback praising you, but to get to the point, i think the rabbit logo is so far the best one there. I agree with Elizabeth below about the alien logos, and like your idea about the colours in the ears, a visual representation of listening to your music! Logos are (in my eyes) supposed to be simple, but speak volumes, and so far you’re doing really well. To me, the panda looks a little sad, but on the other hand he/she might look a little crazy smiling. I think the best thing you can do is rattle out as many logos as you care to, to have quite a selection to choose from. Then you’ll definitely find one you’re really happy with. You’ve got the final decision after all, make sure you don’t compromise, this is YOUR logo!
In summary: colourful ears are cool,don’t make your logo too complicated, and make sure you’re happy!

I think the panda logo is working more successfully for you than the alien logo, perhaps because of the simple background- the alien is overpowered by the colorful stripes in the background, and those colors also detract from the headphones he seems to be wearing.
I dig the idea that mr. alien not only has some funky headphones going on, but in a way resembles a record himself. I would bring that musical aspect to the panda. His ears are already drawing some attention with their colors, perhaps incorporate the headphones from the alien logo with the panda’s ears. You are making this logo for your music, yes? Say it loud and proud! Just some friendly advice. :)
your mash-ups are amazing – i just sent you a YouTube friend request as i was not aboe to play ones i had previously been able to… i suppose there are some rights issues? anyway, i love mash-ups and yours are special, more mellow and thoughtful than most. First of all, thank you for your awe inspiring music, listening to your music (so beautiful its art) puts me into an amazing trance of sounds and memories that is completely unforgettable. But just like TeddySurgery said down there, I could praise your work for quite awhile but we gotta get to figuring out that logo. I like that white bear with the colored ears (eyes shut with the pink nose), its simple yet shows that your creative and very very chill (laid back, etc) I also agree with elizabeth about the aliens and TeddySurgery about keeping it simple and getting a wide selection to choose from but in the end it ‘s YOUR logo. Damn looks like I was beaten to punch on ideas. Eyeball (don’t forget eyelids if you try it, I’ve drawn it a million times and it works better with eyelids) with angel wings? Just an idea.

First off, i would like to thank you for all your work , I enjoy every one of your ventures, and continually try to spread your talent through my friends! In fact, I managed to get one of your songs, Alohamora, to be played on my friend’s university radio show, I hope you don’t mind! They were all very impressed!
I could spend quite a lot of this feedback praising you, but to get to the point, i think the rabbit logo is so far the best one there. I agree with Elizabeth below about the alien logos, and like your idea about the colours in the ears, a visual representation of listening to your music! Logos are (in my eyes) supposed to be simple, but speak volumes, and so far you’re doing really well. To me, the panda looks a little sad, but on the other hand he/she might look a little crazy smiling. I think the best thing you can do is rattle out as many logos as you care to, to have quite a selection to choose from. Then you’ll definitely find one you’re really happy with. You’ve got the final decision after all, make sure you don’t compromise, this is YOUR logo!
In summary: colourful ears are cool,don’t make your logo too complicated, and make sure you’re happy!

I think the panda logo is working more successfully for you than the alien logo, perhaps because of the simple background- the alien is overpowered by the colorful stripes in the background, and those colors also detract from the headphones he seems to be wearing.
I dig the idea that mr. alien not only has some funky headphones going on, but in a way resembles a record himself. I would bring that musical aspect to the panda. His ears are already drawing some attention with their colors, perhaps incorporate the headphones from the alien logo with the panda’s ears. You are making this logo for your music, yes? Say it loud and proud! Just some friendly advice. :)

your mash-ups are amazing – i just sent you a YouTube friend request as i was not aboe to play ones i had previously been able to… i suppose there are some rights issues? anyway, i love mash-ups and yours are special, more mellow and thoughtful than most. Keep up the great work. (i am a visual artist and i am amazed by sound work.)
